DAKOTA
Diana
It's Me, Trista. I adopted Dakota (now Selah). Sorry it has taken me so long to respond to you, but here are the pics you have requested. Selah has made a wonderful, loving addition to our family. Byron and I are very thankful that you and Carol felt we were fit to adopt her : ) She continues to thrive, learn and play!!!!
With regards
Trista
Frederico
Hi Diana,
Rico aka Frederico would love to be in your calendar:) Here are some recent photos.
Rico is doing great! He has such a mellow and loving personality..and he and Kona get along so well. We really couldn't imagine our family without him.
Thank you!
Jerry, Julie, Rico & Kona
COLORADO
Trooper aka Colorado is fantastic! We got his rabies and a vet checkup...everything looks good! He lost all his teeth and most have come in, but he wasn't a huge chewer.
We went camping for the first time last weekend and he did awesome...loves the water!
We are out of the apartment and he has a huge backyard to play in and loves it...not real into fetching tho, prefers tug-a-war!Thanks for checking on us! Hope all is well with 2nd Chance and there are lots of good adoptions going on!
Thanks for all you do for these little animals...Trooper is my absolute best friend!

VICTORIA
Hi Diana Tasha aka Victoria is great. We just love her to death. Not to say she doesn't still have her puppy moments, like eating the N in Delaney's name puzzle this morning (but that was the fault of the kids, for leaving the puzzle on her kennel last night). She gets away with things we never let Riker and Troia get away with, like sleeping on the couch. I think that has to do with her being an only dog. Just this morning she had her nylabone on the couch, hanging out of her mouth, head on a Pottery Barn pillow, and I said to Jim, "She really looks like she needs a tiara!". She talks to us in the morning, and sits next to Jim, on the couch, while he drinks his morning coffee, and cuddles with him, and licks his face. I think she likes him best!
Sincerely
Debbie and family
TEXAS
THEN.... If you told me six weeks ago I would have another dog today I would have laughed and said you were nuts. After losing our 15 year old Bandit over 2 years ago I was adamant that I would NEVER get another dog, I loved Bandit so much and "knew" I could never love another dog again. I also couldn't go through the pain of losing another again, it was the worst pain I had ever experienced.
NOW.... It's Saturday morning, six weeks after that day, and J.J. is firmly planted under my feet sleeping, he's never too far away. J.J. sleeps through the night only waking up when we do. I take him to the park four mornings a week to meet up with his friends to play and run amok. He gets his beautiful coat of hair brushed every morning along with his teeth and I file his nails filed every two weeks - all of which he just sits there and lets me do, he's such an angel. We play with his favorite toys and train most of the day, take car trips to Petsmart, the office or a friends house to have a play date with their retriever Joey. We go to puppy training at Petsmart once a week and he learns so quickly. We are absolutely in love with J.J. and will do anything for him as he has already done so much for us in just six short weeks.
Thank you Diana and Carol. Thank you for everything you two do in this world. Thank you for saving all those little lives that would have otherwise been ended. Thank you for having such big hearts. Thank you for being who you are. Thank you for saving J.J
