Socrates

Diana, He is doing fantastic. In fact, I was going to send you a view pictures of him romping in our yard right after that big storm a month or so ago but just kept forgetting. Our backyard got flooded a bit (the grass part got about ankle high with water) and he just had a blast. We were out there playing with him in the water. Here are a few pictures of him playing in the water. He is definitely a Mama’s boy. Follows me all over the place. We all love him so much. He is a happy, loved doggie. J Big hugs, Stacey

SATCHMO

Diana, How are you? Satcho is doing great. We had our last session with the trainer and he has come a long way. He now knows sit, stay, and come. He can also walk up a ramp into the back of my car and he is now comfortable with the hose and getting baths. We go for a walk every day and he does not pull on the leash at all. Physically, he has filled-out a little bit and looks sturdier. The attached picture (if i did this right) is the only one I currently have downloaded on this computer. He was apparently nosing around in the trash can and the lid came off around his neck. He came in with that look of "can someone help me here?". He likes to lay in the sun out in the backyard and chew a rawhide. We also likes to feed the horses with me, but that may just be because he usually gets fed afterward. He's never had an accident in doors and he appears to be getting over the soft stool problem. He's surprisingly athletic and still has a lot of "puppy" in him. We'll be away for the Holidays, but I will try to send more pictures when we get back. Considering what he went through, he really has exceeded expectations. With the way he has progressed, if we keep enforcing the training he will be an ideal dog. We are fortunate to have him. Happy Holidays, Darrin

Shepherd Pups

Bentley and Marley are doing wonderful! They are always so happy! Bentley just figured out that he could jump up on our bed a couple days ago. Boy! He was so proud of himself! Marley hasn't gotten that far yet though. They are getting SO big! John weighed them a few weeks ago and they were 45 and 50lbs. I'm sure they are up to at least 60 now. Did the other shepherds all get adopted? I hope so! Here are a few pics of them. Sorry it took me SO long! Noel

Sundance

I saw Sundance ( Sonny ) on the web site and fell in love with that sweet face. He was adopted out on my first try. For some reason I looked thru the site again a few weeks later emailed them and to my surprise he was available. Like the foster mom said " good things come to those who wait ' He is my little angel, he is just what I needed after I lost my other dog to cancer. He has the cutest personality, he loves the dog park, loves to play fetch, loves all his stuffed toys especially the squeaky ones. He is very affectionate loves to give kisses and cuddle with me on the couch. I am the lucky one here to have him in my life. Thank you 2nd Chance for all you do! Kathy and Sonny.
