ADOPTION PROCESS
Before 2nd Chance Dog Rescue places a dog in his/her furever home, the potential adopter is required to fill out an Adoption Consultation Application. Once we have reviewed your application we will contact you to arrange a meet and greet and home check. 2nd Chance Dog Rescue will only adopt to families living in the Queen Creek, Gilbert, Chandler, Mesa, Tempe, San Tan Valley, and Phoenix area - as long as it is within 50 miles of our rescue (Queen Creek).
Buddy is the perfect pup who’s ready to fill your home with love, laughter, and endless tail wags! This 4-year-old sweetheart is the total package—great with dogs of all sizes, fantastic with cats, and absolutely adores kids. He even lives with a potbelly pig! Buddy is incredibly gentle, eager to please, and just wants to be part of a family.
Buddy needs a new home ASAP! His dad travels several days a week, leaving Buddy alone for days on end with no one to give him the love and attention he craves. He’s house-trained, never destructive, and knows sit, shake, and even how to “talk” in his own adorable way. He loves playing tug-of-war, carries his stuffed animals around without ever tearing them up, and is a dream on a leash.
Neutered, up to date on vaccines, and ready to go, Buddy is just waiting for the right person to give him a second chance. If you hear him let out a little growly howl, don’t be alarmed—that’s just his way of saying, “Hey, new friend, take me home!”
