If you have second thoughts about adopting a stray or abandoned dog/pup, please check out our "Successful Adoptions Page" and see how many dogs we have already placed into loving homes. Be sure to check out their happy endings under "Happy Tails"
Before 2nd Chance Dog Rescue places a dog in his/her furever home, the potential adopter is required to fill out an Adoption Consultation Application. Once we have reviewed your application we will contact you to arrange a meet and greet and home check. 2nd Chance Dog Rescue will only adopt to families living in the Queen Creek, Gilbert, Chandler, Mesa, Scottsdale and Phoenix area, as long as it is within 50 miles of our rescue (Queen Creek).
Clarence like many other innocent dogs found himself at the shelter and for no other reason than "not enough space" was placed on their euthanasia list. Our boy is one of the lucky ones and was given a 2nd Chance.
Handsome and being an absolute love bug are just a few of my noticeable characteristics. I am always happy, playful and silly. I get along with some dogs and would do best with a companion that is easy going or be content being the only dog. I do admit; I am not a good companion for cats. I would thrive learning new commands and would work exceptionally hard to become your perfect companion.
At five years old, I still have plenty of energy to be your running or hiking buddy!. Playing in the water and taking car rides are just a few of my favorite things to do. I am neutered, micro-chipped and UTD on my shots
If you are interested in meeting me, please fill out an Adoption Consultation Application. We gave Clarence a 2nd Chance but you can give him a loving home
