ADOPTION PROCESS

Before 2nd Chance Dog Rescue places a dog in his/her furever home, the potential adopter is required to fill out an Adoption Consultation Application.  Once we have reviewed your application we will contact you to arrange a meet and greet and home check.  2nd Chance Dog Rescue will only adopt to families living in the Queen Creek, Gilbert, Chandler, Mesa, Tempe, San Tan Valley, and Phoenix area - as long as it is within 50 miles of our rescue (Queen Creek).

This sweet boy has been through a lot, and yet he is such a happy-go-lucky, goofy boy with personality plus!  Although he had to have one leg amputated when he was rescued, due to Valley Fever, he recovered fully and jets around like he was on four legs.

He can chase and retrieve a ball, he will play with some other toys at times, but balls are his favorite.  He rides in the car well and LOVES treats at all times.

Hiro was in a foster home with 4 other dogs, and with a slow introduction, there is no reason he cannot be in a home with other well-behaved dogs.

If you think Hiro would fit with your family and you would like to meet him, please fill out an adoption form and let's set something up!
